Social problems of people residing in the area of unconditional (compulsory) resettlement

Abstract

The article defines at the legislative level the social rights of citizens that are guaranteed by the state; the main components of social security are identified, namely: pension (unemployment insurance); cash assistance; other forms of social assistance and social services (caring for the elderly, persons with disabilities, custody of orphans, etc.). Highlighted economic instability; price increases, unemployment as components of the current crisis state in which people find themselves. The need for social protection of people, which will be based on the appropriate legislative framework, is proved. Highlighted informational, socio-economic; psychological, socio-pedagogical, socio-medical, legal types of social services. Disclosed social work with victims of the Chernobyl accident, namely, people living in the zone of unconditional (compulsory) resettlement. The problems faced by residents of this zone are identified. To solve acute problems, tasks are proposed that must be solved at the state level
