Eco-oriented approach in the training of social workers

Abstract

The article substantiates the need to implement an environmentallyfriendly approach in the process of training future social workers. Threats that may violate social stability are disclosed, in particular: the demographic situation in the world; environmental crisis; threats to food security; decrease in fresh water reserves; loss of health; rising unemployment and changing employment. The analysis of the Reports of the International Labor Organization «World Employment and Social Outlook 2018: Greening with jobs». The competencies that a modern social worker must have in order to implement professional green social work are highlighted
